Science Practical Camp 2024

The Science Club of Sulaimaniya College, in collaboration with the SESIP program, hosted an inspiring practical camp on October 28, 2024, for Grade 11 students. This hands-on event provided students with an incredible opportunity to explore science beyond the classroom, sparking their curiosity and deepening their understanding through practical experiments. The camp was a resounding success, making learning both exciting and unforgettable!

The Science Club of Sulaimaniya College kicked off Astro Week with an Astro Art Competition on September 8, 2024. Students showcased their creativity and curiosity about space exploration through stunning drawings. Their artwork beautifully captured the wonders of the universe, making the event an inspiring start to an exciting week of astronomy-themed activities!

To help our students learn through research and become better at learning on their own, we, the Science Club, started a special research program. It's a unique event for our club. First, we explained to the students what research is. We picked students who really liked the idea and began the research program. We gave them specific topics to work on for three months. We guided them during this time to gather information, write it down, and create a poster with all their findings. On December 22, 2023, we organized a research symposium where they presented their work to visitors. Everyone who took part got a certificate, and the top 20 researchers got medals. This was a great chance for them to learn how students in other countries study, and it will guide them to learn more through research.
